About me

Peak Charlotte behavior is…

doodling the view with my espresso, or whatever else I can find to paint with.

finding the best gluten free food in every city and eating all of it.

starting a company to solve a problem because someone has to.

Hi, I’m Charlotte. I love mountaineering, weaving flower crowns, designing pants with big pockets, and mailing postcards.

I co-founded Gnara Inc, gave a Tedx Talk on why women’s pants suck, and did a Watson Fellowship studying women’s empowerment in mountain communities around the world. I also like to paint with coffee.

I graduated from Middlebury College in May 2019 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Studio Art. Then I set out on a 12 month adventure to learn about how women in mountainous areas around the world are overcoming patriarchal social structures to gain employment in trekking and mountain guiding industries. Now I run Gnara Inc, an outdoor clothing company focused on solving problems in the outdoor industry.
